Sourav Joshi, one of India’s most popular YouTubers with 4-5 million daily views, recently visited the Vantara Wildlife Rescue Center in Jamnagar as part of a PR campaign for the facility. Joining him on the trip were his wife Avantika, his father, and his Chacha ji. The campaign covered all travel expenses, including Air India Business Class tickets and a luxury stay at Vantara Niwas.
The trip, however, did not begin smoothly.
As their flight descended toward Jamnagar, the aircraft suddenly pulled back up into the air. Sourav described hearing “weird sounds” from the plane, comparing them to a “bad bike,” and feared the flight might crash. Chacha ji was so shaken that his “breath got stuck” and had to be given water to calm down. The pilot successfully landed the aircraft on the second attempt.
After the scare, the family arrived at Vantara Niwas, a luxury property that the Vantara team says took nine years to build from a single stone of quartz. The team personally welcomed the family and gave them a tour of the property, including an introduction to the resident fish, Goldie and Sylvesta.
Sourav’s suite featured iPad-controlled lighting, a personalized welcome message on the television, a professional massage chair beside the bed, self-opening electronic toilet seats, and a private spa room.
Despite the frightening flight experience, Sourav noted that arriving at such a property made the trip feel like a “lifetime” experience.
